Apple has revised its App Store rules, now obliging developers to assign an 18+ rating to any app that offers dating functions or AI‑powered companions with sexual or romantic material, thereby stopping minors from installing them.

Outlined in the newest App Store review guide, the policy requires developers to mark their software as 18+ whenever it enables romantic matchmaking or provides AI conversations containing intimate or sexual content. Apps that do not comply risk being taken down from the store.
