Evertrue Capital Puts $17 Million Into European AI and Fintech Start‑ups

Evertrue Capital disclosed that its first fund will allocate $17 million to support early‑stage firms building artificial‑intelligence and fintech solutions throughout Europe.

Led by seasoned investor Yvonne Bajela, the fund intends to deliver both financing and strategic mentorship to startups still in seed or pre‑Series A stages. Bajela, with over ten years of experience across Europe’s tech scene, explained that the vehicle seeks to close the funding void many ambitious founders face after moving past the prototype stage.

While Europe’s venture‑capital market has experienced a steady rise in AI and fintech projects, it continues to trail North America in the amount of early‑stage capital available. Evertrue’s arrival coincides with policymakers promoting innovation via regulatory sandboxes and tax breaks, and with big corporations showing growing interest in collaborating with agile tech companies.

Analysts point out that, although the $17 million pool is modest next to mega‑funds, it is sufficient to advance a respectable cohort of firms from idea to market validation. Evertrue intends to spread the investment across a varied portfolio, focusing on areas like predictive analytics, decentralized finance, and AI‑powered compliance solutions.

Prospective portfolio companies will gain access to Bajela’s network of mentors, corporate allies, and follow‑on investors. Evertrue has already started hunting for candidates in tech centres including Berlin, London, Stockholm and Paris, and aims to issue its initial investments in the coming quarter.

Going forward, the firm plans to review the fund’s results after an 18‑month pilot period and may launch a larger vehicle should limited‑partner demand stay robust. By concentrating on AI and fintech, Evertrue seeks to boost the competitiveness of Europe’s tech ecosystem and enable home‑grown innovators to scale worldwide.
