MSI Introduces Prestige N16 Flip AI+, a 16‑Inch Convertible Powered by Nvidia RTX Spark

MSI has unveiled the newest member of Nvidia’s RTX Spark lineup, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ laptop—a 16‑inch convertible aimed at creators and professionals who need top‑tier AI‑boosted performance.

Its top‑tier model houses a 20‑core CPU alongside Nvidia’s 6,144‑core RTX Spark GPU, complemented by a hefty 128 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. Every N16 Flip AI+ variant retains this processor and graphics setup, differing chiefly in storage size and optional add‑ons.

Adding its name to the expanding roster of RTX Spark notebooks—most recently showcased by Microsoft—MSI underscores its dedication to AI‑centric hardware. Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform, launched earlier this year, aims to speed up generative AI tasks, real‑time ray tracing, and high‑resolution media production, appealing to workflows from video editing to machine‑learning model training.

Equipped with a 16‑inch 120 Hz screen that pivots a full 360 degrees, the N16 Flip AI+ can serve as both a tablet and a conventional laptop. This convertible design targets users who require the adaptability for sketching, note‑taking, or mobile presentations, yet still demand desktop‑level processing power.

Analysts observe that pairing a robust GPU, generous memory, and a high‑refresh convertible display puts MSI in direct contention with established premium creator brands. Because the laptop’s price remains unrevealed, cost will heavily influence adoption by freelancers, designers, and SMEs seeking strong AI performance without the expense of a full workstation.

While MSI has not published a full launch timeline, it has confirmed that the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ will open for pre‑order later this month, with deliveries slated for the first quarter of next year. As the RTX Spark ecosystem grows, additional models from other makers are expected, heightening competition and possibly lowering prices for high‑performance AI laptops.
