Apple Expands Free Satellite Service to Older iPhones, Keeps New Camera Tools Exclusive to Latest Models

During the recent iPhone Duo presentation, Apple introduced a collection of sophisticated camera capabilities—such as Pro‑level controls and Photographic Styles—but confined their availability to the newly released iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro series.

In the same announcement, the firm said that users of older iPhone models will now be offered free satellite connectivity, a feature that had previously been limited to newer devices or required a subscription.
